Who we are
hourslip is made and run by ChuKhaLi, an individual developer. In these terms, "we" means ChuKhaLi and "you" means the person using hourslip.
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for hourslip Pro. Dodo Payments takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt and invoice.
The software
hourslip's source code is available on GitHub under the Functional Source License, FSL-1.1-MIT. You may read, change and use it, for yourself or your company. You may not use it to build a competing product. Each version becomes MIT-licensed two years after its release.
hourslip Pro
Pro is a subscription, billed every month or every year. It renews automatically until you cancel. You cancel from the link in your receipt email from Dodo Payments; Pro then stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
A report you publish stays online for 2 years from publishing, also after you cancel. Cancelling stops new publishes only. You can delete a report you published at any time; see Privacy.
Unlimited reports means fair use: up to 50 publishes a day, 20 versions of one client and month, and 100 MB of stored reports per key. A publish past a limit is refused with a message that names it; nothing already published is touched. Write to us if your work needs more.
What hourslip does and does not promise
hourslip is provided as is, without warranty.
- Hours are a lower bound of your time in Claude Code. Time outside Claude Code appears only where you added it by hand, and is labelled so.
- Confirm records a name someone typed and when. It does not identify who that was: anyone holding the link can confirm.
- A report is not proof of the work done or that anything was paid, and hourslip is not a party to your agreement with your client.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about hourslip is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Your reports
Publish only what you may share with that client. A report carries the business name, client name, tickets, branch names, commit titles and notes you chose to include, and you are responsible for them.

Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date above. A change never takes away a report you already published or a period you already paid for.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
